The Hero
The hero in the story of Abraham is God; the Merciful, Gracious God; the Sovereign and Strong God. In the same way, the hero in the story of your life is your gracious, loving, Heavenly Father, who is strong and able.
At its heart, every lie is a failure to trust. Abraham’s core failure was not his lie, but instead his lack of trust in the goodness of God.
“The math of grace doesn’t add up. We don’t get what we deserve. “
Through Victories & Failures
Through victories and failures we learn that God’s grip on us is always stronger than our grip on Him. He will not let us go.
Through the ups and downs of life, God is saying to you – “I wish you could see how beautiful you are in My eyes.” God loves you the way a parent loves His child. His love for you is so deep and profound that He would rather die than spend eternity without you. Your value is so great, that you are worth the blood of His Son.
Our actions do have real and serious consequences, but the outcome of God’s goodness to us will never change. What’s at stake, is our own joy, confidence and trust along the journey.
“Even our failures and victories are eclipsed by the grace, mercy, and love of God.”
God is unwaveringly good to us even when we don’t deserve it.
God’s goodness to us leads us to course-correct our life. This is what repentance means – a changing; a turning; a returning back to Him.
