Judaizers
The apostle Paul comes along with this idea that Jesus Christ has died for our sins and we have this incredible freedom and liberty in the Gospel, but in Galatia a group called the Judaizers have arisen and are trying to add to the Gospel, and subtract from the authority of Paul.
Conversion
Conversion is such a jolt to the system that it changes you from the inside out. It hurts, it tears, it wounds, before it heals.
Power of the Spirit
If you have been lulled into believing that you need to add something to the Gospel, it is usually because you don’t have the faith, teaching, and power of the Holy Spirit in your life. You think that religion + me is going to make it.
The Cross
If you add anything to the cross, the cross is diminished.
We didn’t discover faith, it was shown to us. We don’t believe in magic, we believe in the cross – something we can trust in.
We do nothing for our salvation, He does everything. He needs nothing, but He gives everything to me.
