Prayer for Our City

Imagine a community noticeable for thriving, healthy families, husbands who love their wives, wives who love their husbands, parents who truly invest in their children, neighbours who know and care for one another? That is God’s dream for Alton Village and Burlington and beyond. We have a role in joining God’s renewal of all things in this corner of our city. Our role begins with prayer. Too often prayer is seen as a last resort or an obligation. But what if prayer was the key to seeing God’s dream for our city come true?

We have set aside three consecutive Tuesday evenings beginning June 14th from 7-8pm for passionate prayer for our community. Everyone is invited. You don’t need to know lots about prayer or the Bible or anything. There aren’t special words or things you need to know. You don’t need to have experience in praying. You can just listen and offer an “Amen” at the end if you want!
