We were made to glorify God with every aspect of our lives and to delight in His presence. That is why we exist and when we bring Him glory we become truly who we were designed to be.
To some of us, God has given us the gift of musicianship and the leading of His people in worship. Music was made for worship and it uniquely allows for the outward expression or communication of both the head (intellect) and the heart (emotions). There is a depth to the expression of musical worship by a soul full of love for Jesus that is unparalleled in human communication. Music helps to guide, inspire and undergird our worship. It creates harmony and raises the eyes of our hearts to see the majesty, beauty and magnificence of God’s presence and character.
Godsong’s purpose is to identify and train musicians and worship leaders in the church. To equip these musicians to lead by the Spirit, under the word, and for the glory of the Father.
Godsong is for all musicians. All skill levels. All ages. These events will take place on the first Sunday of the month and will be led by our Worship Pastor, Bryan Hunt. They will consist of a short scriptural teaching, followed by an extended time of musical worship together. If you are a budding or experienced musician, these times are for you. Please bring your instrument with you, and let’s glorify God through the gift of music and learn together to become who He designed us to be.
