Men’s Outdoor Cookout

We do need your help in pulling together the events, especially finding some BBQ’s and outdoor stoves / cooking devices.

The men of St. Georges are getting together for a midday outdoor country cookout around lunch time. Think of an open fire, grilled meats & veggies and fresh bread – with beer/wine. 

Date: Saturday Nov 17th.
Time: 10:30am – 2:00pm

The purpose is to allow us to meet newcomers, fellowship over good food and enjoy God in the midst of His creation. 

We’ll be having a fall country cookout with some prayer and worship time. 

Cost will be in the $15-20 per person range which will pay for the food. We’re planning steak, chicken, sausages, maybe even ribs or lamb depending on the turnout …. as long as that’s OK with you. 

If you are eager to come but concerned about the cost, mention that to Jonathan Burns by email and he’ll look after you. We don’t want cost to be an obstacle.

It will be an outdoor event, weather permitting. Dress to be outdoors for several hours. In the event of bad weather, the event will be held at the church.  

If you have a son aged late high-school and up who you think would like to join us, feel free to bring them, but this is intended to be an event for adults.
