R.D. Glenn leads a video devotional on Psalm 121, a song of ascent.
Psalm 121
I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, he who keeps Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper;
the Lord is your shade on your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore.
Psalm 121:1-8
Thank you, R.D., for this message of Psalm 121. Written so long ago and yet so timely, especially now. Yet it is timely always because we always need to know that He is our keeper and the shade at our right hand….always with us and always watching over us. Certainly, it is not my doing (for I would be surely lost) but it is His doing through Jesus who is our Redeemer.
I am so thankful for St. George’s ministry…your messages, Bryan’s blog and the phone call that I received this week…all to connect with God’s Word and to my church family. God bless you and everyone at St. George’s.
