Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful

Prayer is central, logical, essential, beautiful, important, commanded, life-giving and glorious in the Christian life. And yet so many of us struggle to do it and grow in it, or even know how to start. So we have started prayer gatherings every Tuesday at 7pm to worship and pray and grow in the love of God together.
We want to be a church that is from top to bottom truly devoted to prayer. Here are 13 quotes to encourage us to do just that:
