Here are 8 truths to commit to memory from ‘The Mystery Revealed’.
1. In the face of suffering, don’t lose heart – God is still at work.
2. Even in the chaos of this world there is an overarching story unfolding.
3. The mystery of the cosmos that has been revealed in Christ – is that everyone is equal at the foot of the cross.
4. There is only one category of human person – all have fallen short of the glory of God.
5. The morally rich and the morally bereft are both equally guilty, and equally loved at the foot of the cross.
6. You are part of the body of Christ, and no parts are more important than others.
7. In God’s economy, it is through the church that the entire cosmos sees His wisdom.
8. Even you are included in the family of God.
9. The mystery that brings peace in the face of suffering, is that you and me are included in the promises of God.
10. We can all come up with reasons why we shouldn’t be included in God’s plans for the world, but no matter what the reasons, we are included in Christ.
