1. True generosity is a radically pervasive way of living that comes from understanding how radically generous God has been to you.
2. Nothing you have is ultimately of your own making; The fact of your life, the abilities, the aptitudes you possess, the time on earth you have, everything you’ve accrued – your wealth, your possessions, your relationships, your talents – all of it is sheer gift.
3. If you believe that the gospel is the greatest gift you have, then the greatest gift you can be generous with is that same gospel – your faith, your hope.
4. If you are a Christian you are by default a missionary.
5. The call to share the gospel generously is costly.
6. You can’t share the gospel, the greatest gift you’ve ever been given, with people you look down on.
7. The gospel feels like joy bursting at the seams; finally being shown your true home.
8. Following Jesus means becoming homeless in this world, but you do have a new home, and it is not a place, but a person.
9. To follow Jesus is to follow Him home, to our home, to our rest, in the bosom of his boundless love and mercy. And the more we learn to settle in Him there, the easier it becomes to invite anyone and everyone over.
