Blair Kitchen is back in hospital and is in need of urgent prayer. He had a cat-scan last night and it has shown that the hepatic artery that supplies blood to the liver, which the bile ducts uses, has no blood flow. The doctors say that there is a 50/50 chance that it could be caused by fluid retention around the area, which is pushing on his lungs and putting pressure on the artery. They are going to drain the area to see if this is the case, but if it’s not, he will need another transplant. They would put Blair on the critical list and there should be a new liver available within 8 days.
St. George’s, please pray earnestly for Blair today. Pray that the hepatic artery would begin to flow properly. Pray for wisdom for the doctors. Pray against discouragement for Blair and his family. Pray that the Lord’s goodness and might would be shown forth in Blair’s body. Pray and pray some more.
