The Reason For God

Last year my small group listened to a sermon series by Tim Keller called “The Reason For God”. It was one of the clearest, most thought provoking defenses of the existence and love of God that I have ever heard. He profoundly addresses the common stumbling blocks that keep many from coming to faith in Jesus.

Tim Keller is the pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, one of the most vibrant churches in North America. When you have a few minutes, I would recommend listening to these sermons by clicking on one of the links below. They will challenge you and give you a deeper understanding of how to discuss these difficult subjects with your unbelieving friends and family.

Listen To ‘The Reason For God’

Exclusivity: How can there be just one true religion?

Suffering: If God is good, why is there so much evil in the world?

Absolutism: Don’t we all have to find truth for ourselves?

Hell: Isn’t the God of Christianity an angry Judge?

Doubt: What should I do with my doubts?

Literalism: Isn’t the Bible historically unreliable and regressive
