Prayer for Matthew and Ray David

Ray David has asked for prayer for Matthew. Yesterday after swimming in the pool for most of the day, Matthew started complaining of stomach pains. The pain got worse as the night progressed so RD took Matty to the emergency room. They ran a battery of tests, suspecting appendicitis. Matthew’s blood work revealed a very high white blood cell count, indicating infection but the CT scan showed no inflammation in the appendix so for the moment they are calling it the Disney Virus, (too much sun, sea, junk food and exposure to all sorts of strange bugs), very common amongst tourist’s kids in Florida, apparently. So Matthew is being monitored to see which how this progresses and we have been asked to cover this in prayer.

Please pray for protection for Ray David against the lies of the evil one during this time. Pray for peace which passes understanding and the grace to trust in the midst of the storm.

  21. Jesus, wrap your healing arms around Matthew, grant the doctors wisdom to discover the source of the problem and treat it, give him a mighty and speedy recovery. Grant them oh Lord safety home. In your precious name we pray.

I am a partner of Crossroads Ministries and want to let you know, Ray David and Matthew that I am continuing to bathe you in prayer, that our Triune God would hold you both in the palm of His hands and never let you go, that you both would be covered under the precious blood of Jesus. I pray for your faith that it would withstand the storms of life and that your situation would continue to bring glory and praise to Him who alone is worthy of all our praises. I pray for little Matt that he would receive a healing touch from the Great Physician and that you both would have a restful vacation. Also remembering Rhonda’s mom, sister and brother.   25. Just got the news about Matthew from June 9th – I hope and pray that he is doing much better now June 15th. So sorry for hard times your going through – my heart is with you.
