Dear St. George’s Family,
We are now home from our doctor’s appointments. Faithful friends, Ed and Dy, drove us to both Hamilton and Toronto. Some people have the gift of friendship. Many of you really know how to love. Thank you for the diverse ways you have helped and continue to help. Thank you for your prayers today.
It was a long day for Rhonda. She is home sleeping now. Our day began with tangible evidence of the care of our Heavenly Father. Our triage nurse at the cancer centre came in to the examining room, looked at Rhonda, looked at me, and then looked at Rhonda again. Then she said, “So you are Rhonda Glenn. I have been praying for you for the past week.” She is part of a women’s Bible study group in Burlington. At the end of every meting they put prayer requests in a hat. Her first reach into the hat produced her own request so she dropped it back in and drew out the name ‘Rhonda Glenn’.
For most of our lives, trusting God happens in the abstract. We profess and live our lives in such a way that they would make no sense if God didn’t exist, or if He didn’t care, or if He wasn’t good. However, from time to time God’s trustworthiness becomes concrete. That was the case today. The Master graced us with a moment to demonstrate that He is supremely in control of every detail. There is nothing too big for Him to handle and nothing so small that He doesn’t care. Thank you, Lord, for the small graces.
Both, the oncologist in Hamilton and the neurosurgeon in Toronto believe that the tumor is higher-grade. So the treatment strategy is to include simultaneous radiology and chemotherapy. This looks like 6 weeks of daily radiation, Monday to Friday. There are so many more details, but the bottom line has not changed. We will walk through the treatments grateful for medical science while trusting in the goodness of our loving Lord.
With much love,
RD
I keep praying

Shelter them LORD. By the ‘power of Your Hand, shelter them’.
Amen!
Be encouraged by the nurse who had been praying for a week, Our LORD, goes before. HE will go before each day of the next six weeks.
Ray David and Rhonda,
Thinking of you and praying for you, your family and medical team. We pray without ceasing – for a miracle! God is good all of the time!
May God continue to richly pour out his blessings upon you and give you his strength and peace in the weeks ahead.
You are in my thoughts and prayers daily. What a special lady you are! God bless.
May you continue to focus on God and not the circumstance, doctors, or anything thing else. He will see you through; no matter what. Keep your focus & you can soar through anything. Keep reaching out…He will never let you go. When you run out of energy or words…..try some calm music when there’s no strength for anything else….it helps a great deal. I will continue to pray and have you in my heart. God bless.
Dear Ray David, Rhonda and Matthew:
It is time for me to put this day to rest, but, you need to know that prayers have ‘followed you’ throughout my Thursday……..which shall continue to flow into my Friday.
God Bless you,
Barb.
Dear Precious Rhonda, Ray David and Matthew,
I am keeping you before the Lord’s Throne Room and laying requests on Rhonda’s behalf at the feet of Jesus. Jesus’ hands are upon you, Rhonda. Rest in His tender loving arms and place all of your trust in Him. You are in my thoughts, prayers and heart. Below is an article on brain tumors which might interest you.

Dear Rhonda, Ray David and Matthew. We lift you up at The Prince of Peace, Wasaga Beach, during The Prayers of The People and our Monday night Intercessory Prayer group. Our God heals and we trust in Him who sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ to save us.
Pray big prayers, everybody, worthy of the Father who is rich in glory, unfathomable in love, whose power work at work within us “is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think” and “to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.” [Ephesians 3: 20, 21]
Amen. In our lives and bodies be glorified, O God!
This is the first I have heard of your situation Rhonda. I was so very shocked..wow.
I will pray foryou and the family’s peace in all this.
God is so good. Keep believing God all the way. Don’t believe in FAITH..but FAITH IN GOD
HUGS to you Rhonda as I have had many medical appointments in my life..and some nail biting waiting on answers. I can’t know what you felt like when given yours..I can only just imagine. MY heart heart goes out to you Rhonda David and Mathew.
