Dear St. George’s
Today is the day of prayer for Rhonda. We have been blessed and humbled by the outpouring of love and support from all around the world. So many of you are praying from your homes and so many are planning to join us in the chapel this evening. Either way, your ceaseless prayer carries Rhonda, Matthew and me.
I am reminded of St. Paul’s concluding remarks to the a group of believers,
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-19
Rhonda had a difficult day yesterday. She was tired and dizzy, but enjoyed several visits from dear friends. I have begun to plug back into some responsibilities at St. George’s and a few responsibilities in the national and international church. We both have a strong sense that the world keeps turning under the watchful care of her sovereign Lord.
So, how should we face the days that lie ahead? How does a Christian person live with a brain tumor? We have never done this before, but we turn to God’s word for direction.
We will:
Rejoice always, savoring every small blessing.
Pray without ceasing for Rhonda’s healing, Matthew’s comfort and for each one of you.
Give thanks to God daily, certain that He so preserves us that without the will of our heavenly Father, not a hair can fall from our heads; yes, that all things must be subservient to our salvation.
Leave room for the dynamic ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in the church.
This is how to live with a brain tumor, or without.
I long to see many of you tonight. Please pray from home if you cannot make it.
With deep love and gratitude,
RD
Hey You Guys!!!
I will be in prayer tonight, maybe a bit later than most, but nonetheless, Rhonda will be on my mind, as she has always been!!! My love to you all!!! Proverbs 3:5,6 fits really well with this situation!!! Keep strong, Rhonda!!!
I worked with Rhonda until three weeks or so ago.
I can’t put into words how shocked and deeply saddened I am to hear of Rhonda’s very suddenly diagnosed brain tumor.
My heart is breaking for all of you and everyone that knows Rhonda. She is a very warm, loving, gentle, kind and caring individual. I miss her here at work terribly. Rhonda always had a kind word or a smile or both for everybody.
You, Rhonda and Matthew are in my thoughts and my prayers,

I will be praying tonight for Rhonda, Matthew and You. Your faith in the Almighty God is a great testimony to all. Seeing you and Rhonda on Huntley Street was such a blessing to me.
You, Rhonda and Matthew are always in my thoughts and prayers.
RD, this is about our Lord, Jesus Christ, first and foremost. I am reminded of that fact with every update that you write. In fact, while we uphold Rhonda and you and Matthew, we ourselves are being drawn to the Saviour. Thank you for your steadfastness and your words and insights. Praise God! Halleluiah!
As you meet as a body at St George’s tonight, remember that many more join you in spirit.
Be blessed!

We prayed for you as a group last evening at our prayer group. We asked that the Lord would give directions on how he wants to be glorified through and in this. If it’s simple obediance, that you’ll hear . Weather to dip in a Jordon like Naaman, or put meal in the water, or if there is another instruction that you and Ronda made hear and know.
We are the church that your uncle Russ attends,in Campbell`s Bay Quebec.
