Special Day of Prayer – May 11

Dear St. George’s Family;

The wardens and parish council are calling for a special day of prayer for Rhonda Glenn and the other gravely ill people among us on Tuesday May 11th. We would ask for your prayers throughout the day and then we will come together at Crossroads at 6:30 PM for corporate prayer.

It is important for us to remember as we set aside time to pray that our goal is not to overcome a reluctance in God to bring healing, but to participate with His purposes by exercising our faith. We have been praying for revival over recent months. There are a growing number of our leaders, including Bishop Charlie Masters, who believe that the Lord wants to usher in this revival with healing miracles and the release of the Holy Spirit’s power in our midst. As we lift Rhonda and others to the Lord in prayer, let’s ask Him to bring full healing to their bodies and to display His Glory in the Church that will bring many into the Kingdom!

Throughout the history of God‘s people recorded in both the Old and New Testaments, fasting has been a spiritual discipline often linked with fervent prayer. If you are able to fast for all or a part of Tuesday, you will be blessed and your prayer experience enhanced. An excellent instruction on the why’s and how’s of fasting is available at the website of Campus Crusade for Christ. Just click on this link and it will open your web browser: Personal Guide to Fasting

We are encouraging all of our prayer partners around the world to join us in this day of prayer. We are humbled by your support during this difficult time and can’t thank you enough for your every prayer.

  4. I am praying in faith for Rhonda’s total healing and that the Lord will give her strength and peace throughout this time. I pray he keep her safe in His protection and care and for strength and assurance for Ray David, and Matthew.

  5. Bless your hearts, Ray David, Rhonda and Matthew, I have been praying fervently for your healing miracle according to the Lord’s time and for His Glory. I am so excited that Bishop Charlie Masters and the leadership feel led to have this prayer gathering on the 11th. My sense is that it is truly a God inspired revelation. There has been fires of Revival happening here and there but in time they slowing die out. The Holy Spirit has great plans for this country and the focal point of a great move of God is in the Golden Horseshoe area as many have prophesied in the past years. I believe this is that such time. The Lord is looking to and fro for the hearts that He can depend on to open up to His mighty move of signs/wonders and healing miracles. The key I have always believed is to not get in His way to try and control what the Holy Spirit wants to do. I have seen many times how people get in the way and try to control the atmosphere of what is happening in services. It comes down to totally trusting the Lord to move in His way. Personally, I have seen miracles take place in front of me…the atmosphere is one with no doubting in people’s minds, that is another key. Doubting will block the Lord’s flow. I leave you with one of my favorite scriptures:
    Ephesians 1: 15 – 23
    Jeremiah 32:27 and Jeremiah 33:3

    I am excited for what is going to take place. I pray that many denominations come together on the 11th and become one community of believers.
    Blessings to all in Christ Jesus,
    Teresa Telo
