Freedom. Slavery. Our hearts are idol-making machines. We take good things and make them into gods, worshiping them with our time and money. Not many of us kneel before stone or wooden statues in our homes but make no mistake; we worship at the altars of self, wealth, pleasure, leisure and power. It’s time to smash the idols. It’s time to surrender to freedom.
